“A Predictive Digital Twin for EV Charging Stations Using Deep Learning Forecasting and Closed-Loop Intelligent Control”
A simulation-based digital twin of a full EV charging station, coupled with an LSTM deep learning model that forecasts hourly charging load using historical and synthetic/real charging data. On top of this, a closed-loop control layer is implemented with rule-based logic and a PPO reinforcement learning agent to adjust charging power or defer sessions — demonstrating that AI-driven control significantly reduces overload risk compared to baseline strategies.
